Players can create over a million unique characters in The Sims 3, which puts players in control of a virtual world. Once the characters are created, players will have full control over every aspect of their lives. Full customization is available in this latest version of the whimsical franchise. Not only can players customize how their characters look, but they can also choose their personalities. The characters in The Sims 3 have many of the same responsibilities, joys, and sorrows that individuals in the real world experience. They need to go to school, work, and develop social lives. Players will need to build their Sims family a home based on how much money is in their bank accounts. Once the home is built, players can furnish it however they see fit. While The Sims 3 is a single player game, players can share their creations with other players around the world. Exchange home furnishings, clothes, and other unique creations with Sims fans across the globe. Download items that other players have designed, and incorporate them into the lives of your Sims family. Players can also purchase new items from stores if they can part with the cash.Players can unlock powers that will make their characters' dreams come true instantly, or they can dash their hopes forever. Make your characters fall in love, or instantly improve their appearance. Change a rude character into an easy-going one. Players have complete control over the lives of their characters; however, there are challenges that players will have to meet in order to give their Sims the kind of life they desire.Players will engage in everyday life activities in The Sims 3. From mundane activities such as switching the television channel to planting flowers in the garden, your characters will have plenty to do. They also need to eat, go to the restroom, and perform real-world daily functions. Players can change between characters at any time, and let the remaining characters take care of themselves.Players can dispatch their characters to different areas within the neighborhood. For example, send one member of the Sims family to work, another to school, and another Sim to the store. Choose their social activities, their friends, and watch them interact within their own neighborhoods. As your characters learn new skills or meet other challenges, players will earn points that can be spent on a variety of items. This includes furniture, clothes, or Karma. Karma will allow players to instantly reward or punish their characters. Characters will need to learn new skills in order to earn work promotions, which results in a pay raise and new clothing.Players can use points to keep their Sims from being hungry as often or from having to go to the restroom as often. Not having to feed your characters or take them to the restroom will free players up to perform other activities and challenges.New Sims will be born and other Sims will die, just like in the real world. Players expecting new Sims can shop for baby items and furnish the nursery. Time is as much a factor in The Sims 3 as it is in the real world, as it seems to be in short supply. With all the activities and responsibilities that characters have, it is difficult to find enough time in the day in which to accomplish everything.Although there are everyday concerns, life for your Sims does not have to be mundane. Players can generate earthquakes to shake things up or have their characters act out in embarrassing ways. Use Karma points to bring back a recently deceased family member, or grant your characters' wishes by using your points. Karma can be increased by completing challenges, or players can simply draw on their Karma allowance. The Sims 3 provides players hours and hours of gaming fun and adventure. Act out your fantasies with your own unique characters as they go about their daily lives. Your Sims have hopes and dreams just like real people do, and it is up to you to make them come true.
